With durable all-metal construction and their patented Magne-Matic uncoupling with delay feature, they are the brand that model modelers trust. This #158 is the “Bread and Butter” of the “scale head” line. It has a medium centerset shank, like a #5, but with a “scale” head, and whisker spring. It uses a common shank with 3/32″ hole, it fits standard HO coupler boxes in locations where the mount is set AT THE CORRECT HEIGHT, or close enough for easy shimming .
