-I am selling a 454 block that was removed from a 1973 Corvette. The casting number is 3999289, casting date E2473(May 24, 1973), stamped build date T0530CWR(May 30, 1973- 454 275hp Turbo 400 transmission). It also retains the original 1973 Corvette stamped partial VIN(13S430000). This block is standard bore and has never been decked. It was hot tanked. Magnafluxed, and painted. It came from a machine shop that was closing and unfortunately they had lost three of the main caps. It is guaranteed to be a good core for Rebuilding.
