You’re looking at a one of a kind mono pod with a Bogen Manfrotto 3265 head. Now what do I mean by “one of a kind” and why? I’m an artist that works in wood, stone, metal and glass. I like to take photos as well, of my work and others art works. I found that when using a monopod for my camera, that the monopod was light which made it easy for carrying around, but that it also made it susceptible to swaying or slight movement still. So I made the monopod from a strong tripod leg and secured that into blue lapis stone, (real stone). It reduced the motion better, very stable than the light weight versions and is quite the conversation maker with other people you’re around. It isn’t something I would use as a hiking piece, but it works very well for shooting at events and such, weddings, concerts, festivals, etc. I used it once or twice, and head is like new, no flaws, works perfectly with quick release pad to attach to camera. I made two of these, one going to another pro photographer (he loves it) but his is in a different stone, not as good looking as this one. Blue Lapis is beautiful and you’ll look great using it.
