Some specks of yellow paint missing from color band. Believe item was made in 1930’s. Approximate measurements: 5.25″ diameter x 6″ tall. It is a collectible, vintage kitchen gadget. Foley Manufacturing was founded in 1926 by Walter Ringer, Sr. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During the war years the factory concentrated on producing mess kits and other necessities for the war effort. When postwar production resumed, Foley expanded by acquiring the Meets-A-Need Co. and their Sift-Chine flour sifter and started making sifters under the Foley name.
