Handmade Vintage Atala Roadbike, circa 1961. Measures 61cm from middle of crank to top of seat post. This was one of the top of the line models for Atala at the time, with the chrome Campagnolo lugs and drop-outs. The paint is original – coffee color. Most of the components are original, including Atala pantogram headset, bottom bracket, Ambrosio stem, Universal Extra brakes, TTT seat post, Campagnolo derailleurs, and leather saddle. The crankset was changed out to a French one. I have no idea why, but I think the original crankset was steel, so likely for weight savings – it’s the one thing I’d look to replace if I were keeping the bike. I’ve had it for a number of years – time to let go of some bikes and let someone else enjoy it.
