Renaissance themed Pastel rendering of a Venetian Youth. Beautiful rich and vibrant colors. Actual painting is 16″ x 16″ and is framed in a 4″ wide gilded frame. Total Dimensions of this piece is 20″ x20″. Item was acquired directly from the artist’s family. The Artist: Sammy Pasto (1921-2013), California Modernist, resided and painted in San Diego, California for many years. Pasto’s greatest passion was art. Also a musician, he was consumed by an intense need to create since his youth, and music had an influence on his artwork in that his lines and shapes were influenced by rhythm and harmony. Pasto’s work was featured in various solo and group exhibitions in San Diego, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York. Item is in excellent condition, No damages. All sales finals.
