The Republican Campaign Text-Book for 1892. Issued by the Republican National Committee. Printed in New York City by Brodix Publishing Co. 256 pp, 8.25” x 4.75”, softcover booklet. As-is, with covers held together by tape. Text block split and disbound due to loss of stitching. Loss to edges and corners of pages, primarily on covers. Light markings and marginalia. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A rather scarce piece produced for the 1892 United States Presidential Election, which was dominated by economic issues, mainly tariffs and the gold standard. Incumbent Republican president Benjamin Harrison would lose to former Democratic president Grover Cleveland, marking the only instance of nonconsecutive terms.
