THE DREYFUS AFFAIR by Betty Schechter Published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1965 – First Edition – First Printing This is a very interesting study of the infamous trial of Captain Dreyfus, a Jewish officer in the French Army, court marshaled for treason after the Franco-Prussian War,. The book is in good to very good condition; the cover is clean with minor shelf wear including scuffing, and/or bumping. The spine is tight and the pages are clear and easily readable with minor yellowing. The price clipped dust jacket has minor to moderate chipping, and is in good condition. See the photographs. This book is very interesting and would be an excellent addition to any library. The book is about 6″ x 8-1/2″ x 1″, 264 pages, and about 1-2 lbs.+/- with packaging. (111121-53)
