Beautiful small seascape on wood panel. My process is graphite pencil and eraser. No white color. The white is created by exposing the actual white from the panel with my eraser. It’s a tricky and difficult process. The Frame is always bigger in size to my work, and it’s done on purpose. The actual artwork is then attached to the frame using high quality double adhesive on the back and therefore it gives the appearance as if it’s floating on the middle of the picture frame pulling all the attention towards the work. My art It’s full of meaning. The sea in my artwork is not just the Sea. It represents the state of mind or mood/personality of an individual. Some of my work depicts a stormy sea and some as calm. Rough waves, wind and rain and depth, and sometimes a sense of tranquility using lines.
