As the soil dries, it sucks water up through the cloth strip that then sucks water from the basin. It’s really awesome!Not only that, but comes with 5 of everything!! I found this super awesome and cool, and worth the price!The cords for the grow lights eventually meet up at one point, which I thought were all separate. But that’s okay!
