These are easily detachable, slide-off butt plates to access the interior of a synthetic stock. These are for use with Ruger factory synthetic stocks only. There are currently two supported rifles: The Ruger Mini-30/Mini-14 , and the Ruger PC Carbine . Comes with two washer-head screws. After you’ve taken off the original butt plate, install the provided screws leaving about an 1/8th of an inch exposed, then attach new butt plate. Keep adjusting screws till butt plate is a snug fit.
