Outstanding example of Royal Nippon Hand Painted porcelain. This vase is really impressive with boldly painted fish or coy on all sides. I searched the internet for any other known examples of this vase and did not find any. I think this is a rare find and a great addition to any collection. The size and colors are fantastic. There are a few minor condition issues. Six of the small dots that circle the top of the rim are chipped off. There are several small stress cracks in the lower part of the vase. There is a small nick on the outside of the vase visible in the photos. These really do not detract form the great look of this vase. There are five fish or coy painted on this vase and they are large and colorful. The vase has the Royal Nippon Hand Painted mark on the bottom. It stands 10 1/2″ tall and is 7″ in diameter. The opening at the top is 4 3/4″ in diameter.Thanks!
