These are vintage PYREX lids made in the USA in the 1980’s-90’s. They are clean, and free of chips or cracks except for an occasional flea bite or scratch. This lid version often includes edge bumps along the lid rims to manage lid rattling. NOTE: There are cheaper Chinese-made lids, but those are lighter in color and so do not match the original VISIONS PYREX cookware ( Chinese-made lids usually have fluting lines radiating from top knob to inner circle of lid). HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT LID: VISIONS has your POT size (capacity) embossed on the handle. LIDS have their size embossed around the lid rims as an abbreviation. There are different VISIONS versions made with different abbreviations, and are interchangeable, as long as they go with the pot capacities. Often a lid will fit more than one type of pot, pan, or skillet in a set. Below sizes are for matching pots. SIZES (all measurements approximate): V-1-C for a 1.0 Liter Sauce pot w/ 6.25 inch diameter V-1.5-C for a 1.5 Liter Sauce pot w/ 7.25 inch diameter V-2.5-C for a 2.5 Liter Sauce pot w/ 8.25 inch diameter 5L for a 5.0 Liter Sauce pot or Dutch Oven w/ 10 inch diameter pot.
