Up for sale is this lot of 3 African Padauk Hardwood Turning Blanks. The wood species is Padua k ( Pterocarpus soyauxii) and each piece measures 2″ x 2″ x 12.0″ . It is the perfect size for a game call, bottle stopper, pepper mill, small vessel or tool handles. Save big with this bundle because the individual price is 22.53 each!! Also known as Mutui, Ngula and Bosulu, Paduak is vivid reddish-orange, but it changes to bright red or coral pink with dark streaks. There are about 17 known species that have been used for everything from carvings to tool handles and chisel blocks. Use this blank for a good solid project with no worry about getting defects, Paduak is one of the best woods for color and quality. Design your own piece and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique item that shows who you are and looks and feels just like you want!
