OEM Lennox Furnace Control Board Model/Part # : 2054990, 1012-968 Ver: 1012-83-967A This is an OEM Lennox furnace control circuit board. It may also be used in Armstrong, Ducane and Concord (all made by Lennox) and possibly others. Please check part numbers to confirm this is a match for what you were replacing. Checked in and removed from a working Furnace by an HVAC Professional to be sure there were no issues. Checking included observing the Furnace start, run, and shut down properly two times. This was removed from a furnace that was professionally installed, properly sized with regulator filter changes in a smoke-free home. This makes it difference in the condition of the parts. Licensed HVAC Professionals typically must successfully complete a significant amount of training and hands on experience as an apprentice, and pass tests to prove their competence. While professionals can also make mistakes, it is MUCH more likely someone trying to fix their own equipment will have an issue. Unfortunately people trying to fix their own equipment often purchase the wrong part, or they misdiagnose the issue and buy a part that was not what they needed to fix their equipment, or they install it incorrectly. While it is possible for someone who is not an HVAC Professional to fix their own equipment- it is significantly more likely they will have issues than a licensed, HVAC professional.
