New Era lll, Spektrum AR8000, OS 25FX, HS85BB servos, plus, plus, plus

I built a New Era 3 in 1976 and in my 50 years of RC modeling it was the Super Star. Designed by Don Dewey the editor of RC Modeler magazine, you can read all about it and view the plans on Outerzone UK. I intended to build another one but unfortunately age and failing eyesight have ended that quest. I’m selling everything I gathered together for this model in one lot, a very complete lot of all my favorite hardware. The Kit: I bought this kit on eBay, when it arrived it had been nearly folded in half breaking all the long parts and some of the smaller ones. It took awhile but I have replaced all of the parts with premium wood carefully selected and cut. I meant to build the best one ever. It is a complete kit but not an original factory kit. Hard to do better than Airtronics but I think I did. The engine: OS Max .25FX, near new and in most excellent condition. Note, to use the motor I had to make another firewall since the motor is rear needle. I also completely prepared and fitted the fuel tank. Just note that the firewall is a bit taller and you will need to be careful marking the thrust lines to install it. It has right and down thrust- very important Flight radio system: A genuine Spektrum AR8000 receiver with satellite Rx is included.Look at the photos, for included items. A full battery harness with fuselage mounted charging jack, two 6″ servo extensions, two Hitec HS-85BB servos (one for each aileron) with mounting hardware, 9 gram servo for the throttle pushrod, 750 mah flight pack battery 4.8 v., you can use a 2000 if desired but it is not included, Other hardware included. Three 2″ dia. Dubro wheels, Control Override Servo Saver for the steering nose gear, 4-40 3/4″ screws, Muffler extension (if needed) with screws long and short, Prop, battery wrap (use standard foam if needed), 2″ glass tape for the wing center (required), three different types of hinges so pick what you like, 2-1/4″ Spinner, the Airtonics kit hardware is a bag with the tank and other items. The charging jack makes it easy to charge and check voltage while flying. I didn’t take pics of the kit contents because I’m only allowed 12 photo and there was so much to show you. One note more: A piece of fuel tubing is included- don’t cut it till last. You will need it to install the tank. Feed an end thru each of the firewall holes and pass it back and connect it to both feed tubes of the tank, you will use it to pull and guide the tank into place. A bit of wire will guide the fuel fill line into place while the tank is being intalled. The yellow cap on the fill tube is a standard RC car antenna cap, a spare is included.
