The Mojotone 12AX7 offers reliability at a reasonable price. This 12AX7 twin triode was designed specifically for guitar amplifier use as its construction has been upgraded structurally to minimize tube rattle and microphonics that are common in other brands when used in the industry’s harshest environment – the combo amp. Along with added reliability, you can expect smooth high-end, a tight mid-range, and clearly defined bass response from this 12AX7 tube. As a result of our unique testing for microphonics, balance, and noise floor, this tube can be used in the input stage or first position of any preamp circuit. It will be a challenge to find a quieter 12AX7 from other brands. This model is a suitable replacement for ECC83, 7025, 12AX7WA. 12AX7WB, 12AX7LPS, and E83CC.
