Here we have a rare 1950s item, the 7” E.P. by the PHILHARMONIC SYMPHONY-ORCHESTRA OF NEW YORK entitled ‘Mendelssohn – The Hebrides (Fingal’s Cave)’ . It was released in 1956 on the Philips record label and the catalogue no. is ABE 10006. The B side is ‘Mendelssohn – Ruy Blas Overture’ . The record is in VG+ condition and plays well. There are no skips or jumps and the sound is sharp and clea r . The record comes with its original 1956 sleeve which is in VG condition and apart from a stain mark on the back there are no major issues.
