Updated 4/24 /2024 License plates are at least 3 years old per Ebay policy. NOTE: I Sell license plates for collection and display purposes only. I do not sell plates for use on your vehicle. I sell mostly singles but an occasional pair. So, if you are purchasing a plate to use on a car, whether a current car, or antique vehicle, you need to do your DUE DILIGENCE to find out whether it can be registered in the state you live in. Again, the plates I sell are to display on your walls, or to add to your collection. Good luck on collecting. About My Site: 1. License Plates: I sell mostly license plates. I try to specialize in carrying a variety of license plates from all 50 states. I try to include personalized vanities and specialties when available. I have a few older plates and international plates. Almost all my plates are REAL LICENSE PLATES. NOTE : There will be VERY few if any BOOSTER/SOUVENIR plates. But I do sell some ALPCA/NILPS plates which are for display and collection only—most ALPCA plates have low issue #s and nice graphics. Occasionally, I sell DMV Samples, and “Special Event” plates (Illinois plates valid on your car for 60-90 days). I rarely sell license plate frames. NOTE: Boosters, Samples, and ALPCA plates will be specified. 2. License Plate Signs and Letters: I also sell license plate letters that can be made into a sign. Signs are usually $6 per letter unless you need specific states or types or special instructions. I make names, addresses, sayings, business names (e.g. SARAH, 666 ELM STREET, BITCHEN, JOE’S TACO SHOP, etc.) Buy slay as a sign or just the letters . I can include 2 free edges if you desire. e.g. SLAY S=California letter L=U.S. Virgin Island letter A=Utah letter Y=Alaska letter If you just want the letters (not made into a sign), the price is $4 per letter and $3 per number. This will decrease shipping costs as well. Buying just the letters is beneficial if your family likes to make your own Christmas gifts and this will decrease your costs as well. I also can sell bulk orders at reduced prices, or lower quality letters can also be as low as $1 per letter plus shipping. I can also reduce prices per letter if you want me to send you flat letters (versus raised letters). Certain letters are used more often in the English language like A, E, I, L, M, N, R, S, T and U so if you are getting bulk please try to limit these letters do to my availability. 3. Buy It Nows: I have thousands of BUY IT NOWs. Feel free to send an offer to me so that I can either accept, reject or counter. Prices on BUY IT NOWs have deeper discounts as they have been on the Ebay market longer. Unfortunately, Ebay buries older listings so they are harder to find. So, the best thing you can do is to go to my site: lpgolfer619 to see all of my plates. If you want the lowest price items : 1. Go to ebay.com. 2. Go to “Advanced” (to the right of the Search button). 3. Select (check) “Items in Stores” on the left. 4. Select “Specific Sellers” toward the bottom. Enter lpgolfer619. 5. Go towards the top right where it says “Sort: Best Match”. Click the dropdown menu and hit “Price + Shipping Lowest First”. There you go—you get my lowest priced items listed first. And remember, the more items you purchase will rapidly decrease your shipping costs per item. 4. Auctions: I rarely end Auctions early. It is not fair to accept offers when there are bids or lots of potential buyers “Watching”. If I just listed the plate or if no one or very few watchers that are “Watching” my item, I can add a “Best Offer” to allow a purchase before the end of the auction. 5. Condition: Please look at the “Condition Description”. Look at Rating, look at the picture(s), zoom in carefully and email me if you have any questions. Please use the picture as your primary way to pick the item. I do keep thousands of listings so I can’t say everything about the plate (e.g. there is a spot below the 2, a small scratch about the state, a pinhole at the right—so ZOOM in on the picture). I will try to point out some things like many steel plates have slight “corner to corner warping”. PLEASE: if you are very sensitive to condition ask for more pictures, or email me of your concerns. 6. Shipping: Domestic: My site automatically adds $1.25 per extra plate added to your cart. If you are getting more than 3 or 4 plates, this $1.25 additional shipping will over-charge you in shipping costs, so I will send a Paypal refund to adjust your shipping costs. International: I use the Ebay International Shipping program so please bring all the items into your cart before buying so you don’t have to pay for multiple shipping charges—but this may overcharge you due to extra weight. The best way to buy plates is to give me all the listing numbers. Say you want 6 plates: I will create a new listing with a note “Special Orders” with your Ebay name.
