Our Civilian IFAK is hand packed and curated to fit any situation, whether you are on the road, out exploring, or at home. This comprehensive kit comes with multiple items to render medical aid from severe trauma to just regular first aid needs. The kit comes in the molle style tear away bag that can be mounted onto a vest, backpack, truck, etc. and features a Velcro back for easy and fast deployment. Inside the kit you will find your standard PPE equipment in the mesh flap, including a KN95 mask and rip stop gloves for your safety. In the main compartment, the kit comes with a battle tourniquet, suitable for any major bleeding injury, and an Israeli bandage that is another bleed control option that is self-adhering. Further in the kit you will find a packet of Bleed Stop (which is a powder that can be poured into any wound to control bleeding), a vented chest seal, a soft SAM splint (a moldable splinting option to help immobilize certain injuries), and a mylar shock blanket. Included is also a marker to help write the time of application on the tourniquet, a secondary support rubber tourniquet, trauma shears (can be used on clothing, medical bandages, and even seat belts), tweezers, and a roll of sterile packing gauze. On the other side of the kit you will find sterile gauze pads, saline pods (specifically 0.9% Sodium Chloride Solution, to help wound wash or flush your eyes, ears, etc), medical tape, self-adhering compression tape, and a CPR face mask so you can safely perform CPR on an unknown individual without risking your own safety. Additionally, you will find an assortment of Band-Aids, butterfly closure strips, bacitracin zinc ointment, alcohol prep pads, burn gel and benzalkonium chloride towelettes for antiseptic usage. We have designed this kit to be all encompassing and easy to use in any situation. There are no contraindications of usage, minus the tourniquet (which will need further medical attention if applied), within this kit. Keep you and your family members safe, no matter the situation.
