Good used silver plate. The knife has an edge on it but could used to be sharpened. The silver plate could be polished but is overall in solid condition. Some of my items come from auctions, garage sales or estate sales. I do not smoke in my home, but there may be items that come from a smokers home. If I notice the smell, I will mention that in my listing. If it’s not mentioned that doesn’t mean it is for sure from a smoke free home, I just couldn’t smell it. I do have dogs and outdoor cats. I keep them separate from the merchandise being sold. There may possibly be a stray hair I might not see. If you have allergies please be advised of this before purchasing. I have done my best to describe this item and it’s condition. I have pointed out all the imperfections I see and have done my best to find the appropriate names, titles and descriptions of the item.
