Offered for sale is a vintage soup / punch ladle in the Fontainebleau pattern by Gorham. Created by famous designer, F. Antoine Heller, this pattern is multi-motif, with 20 different representations of different characters of the French Court of Fontainebleau. This server is hallmarked with a lion, an anchor, and a “G”, “STERLING”, and “2”. It measures 12 1/2″ in length. The soup ladle has never been monogrammed. The bowl of the punch ladle has floral brite-cut work in it with a frosted gold wash applied. The condition is excellent, except for a tiny little ding just off the one spray, (see pic.).
