This ornament depicts a whimsical small hand stained and painted smiling anthropomorphic kite with tail. This is a vintage Christian Ulbricht Germany labelled ornament from the 1980’s. It is pictured in a 1985 Christian Ulbricht catalog (item # 10/161), but exact age is unknown. It is about 4″ long/tall by 1 3/8″ wide, and very lightweight. It’s in very nice vintage condition with little to no color rubs, excess glue, and imperfections in the wood & painted/stained finish from being a hand crafted item.
