This is a great looking United States Department of the Energy (DOE) challenge coin. Coin has reeded edges and is about 1 9/16″ in diameter. All details are raised lettering. Coin is contained in an acrylic airtight holder. The United States Department of Energy (DOE) is a Cabinet-level department of the United States Government concerned with the United States’ policies regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material.
