Control Tower Dover Air Force Base Dover Delaware USAF Postcard Dover Air Force Base or Dover AFB is a United States Air Force (USAF) base under the operational control of Air Mobility Command (AMC), located 2 miles southeast of the city of Dover, Delaware. A new facility built in 2009 replaced the air traffic control tower that dates back to the 1950s and is the oldest traffic control tower being used by the Air Force. A major publisher and printer of linen view-cards of the United States.
