Trader-BOB’s MUSIC offers a very nice, Conn “Shooting Star” Alto Saxophone. Serial number 9921. More information has come to light, regarding this horn, from a very knowledgeable eBayer. This is a model 50M, made in Nogales AZ, by Best Manufacturing, 1962. Came to me with the “Stuffer” in it. A few minor dings, and signs of wear, well cared for horn. All the pads look really good, (not dried out looking), all the keys work as they should, nothing bent, sluggish, no broken springs. The Shooting Star engraving, is more faint than the previous Shooting Stars that I have had. No evidence of any refinishing. Glary mouthpiece. Due to a hand injury, I do not have enough fingers on my right hand to play a saxophone. Original Conn ABS plastic case. Should be a PLAYER, right out of the box. Read my feedback, buy with confidence!
