FROM LAWRENCE MASS. to Dea. J. Nichols N. Sutton N.H. Letter reads as follows (transcribed to best of my ability- see pics for details) Lawrence June 10th 1861′ Dear Friends, I arrived home safely Thursday evening found our folks well but they wished that I had brought that tub of butter that Lois spoke of as being for sale perhaps you have not disposed of it yet if not please send it at your first opportunity.
