These are all Vincent Bach trumpet mouthpieces–store demos in like-new condition with perhaps the lightest insertion marks from testing. “25/24” would be a 25 throat with a 24 backbore, etc. The three with 24 backbores are also known as “Symphonic” models and sell new for $84. They are designed for classical players needing a big, dark, symphonic sound. The Artisan models sell for $98 new and are designed to bring back the nuances of the New York models from the 1920’s. Excellent: Very light cosmetic imperfections, shank is round. Very Good: May have a little more scratches, dings, or wear, but all are cosmetic. A good-looking, perfectly playable mouthpiece. Shank is round. May have light engraving. Good: May have somewhat more wear, scratches or engraving on the exterior, and/or light wear, dings or scratches on the rim. Shank may be slightly out of round. May have engraving. A playable mouthpiece at a huge savings. Poor: May have significant scratches, wear, or other imperfections on all surfaces.
