ALL Panels are each 40 inches wide. Length (select from drop down menu) is from the top of the curtain to the bottom of the curtain. 3/4-inch ruffle above rod pocket To determine how many panels are needed, start by measuring the width of the window (or the curtain rod itself when installed). Then multiply that number by 1.5 to 3 times, depending on the desired fullness and pleating style desired. Valance Panels can be purchased individually or in sets of 2. Swags (left and right side, pictured longer sides and short in the middle) come in a set of 2 panels (total 80 inches wide). If you need wider than 80 inches, please purchase the appropriate number of 12-inch-long VALANCES to place in between the swag panels. Pictured are 36 Inch Longs Swag Panels. Rod pocket is for one inch diameter or smaller curtain rod. Valances are 2 layers with different coordinating fabrics. Top layer is a scalloped shaped on the bottom and the bottom layer is straight along the bottom. They are light filtering. These come without lining. Please be aware that the lighting coming through the curtains, the colors may appear different due to the layering. We do not offer custom sizing for these types of valances/curtains. If you need longer curtains, we recommend a tier style when you select the valance you would like for the top and then a second curtain rod is installed elsewhere lower on the window, and you add a regular curtain panel in the same pattern as the bottom layer. We offer curtain panels in many lengths. Please browse our shop in the “Valances & Curtains” section to locate the matching curtains. Machine wash cold gentle cycle. May be machine dried or air dried but wrinkles and shrinking will occur. For BEST results, IRON to dry straight from the washer as this flattens and prevents shrinking.
