Inkle loom hand woven strap for a powder horn, canteen, muzzle loader or even leg straps or bed roll wrap, belt and many other uses. This was hand woven in, Nazareth, Pennsylvania, USA for greens quilting and weaving. This beautiful Black Forest wool strap. The world used in this strap is some of the nicest I’ve ever worked with. The quality is over the top. Unfortunately this is the end of a very good run of this wool… they don’t make this anymore. The wool fibers are made with a twist of red, black and gray. And they weave into an interesting unique marled pattern. The strap is very tightly woven and is smooth and high quality. It measures 1 1/8 inches wide by 42 inches in woven length, not including the fringes. It is woven from very high quality wool. It was hand woven on an inkle loom. Made in the USA. From a smoke-free, pet-free, latex-safe weaving studio. Thanks for looking. We appreciate your business. If you prefer to use it without the fringes for your possibles bag or other things, you just need to sew over the end several times before cutting off the fringes to prevent it from fraying. It is back woven several times to prevent fraying but if you want to sew leather tabs or laces on, it will wear better of you stitch back and forth over the ends for security.
