This listing is for a package of 40 Larkspur Carmine QIS seed. AKA Consolida ajacis. Amazing cut flower in floral arrangements! Fun and versatile candy-colored pink blooms. Large percentage of this variety are double blooms. These lovely 9″-12″ flower spikes are a bounty for the hummingbird community. Excellent cut flowers with long vase life if harvested when only a few flowers have opened on a spire. For best results sow seeds @ 1/4″ in fall for early emergence in spring. Or seed can be sown in early spring after a minimum of 7 days of stratification (suggest refrigeration before planting) Darkness is needed for successful germination.
