Lot of two excellent playing and sounding pop rock records from the early 80s. Chris De Burgh – The Getaway is a 1982 release on A&M SP-1929, this is an original Indianapolis pressing. The vinyl is EX the cover is VG+ with SM, light wear, small stain. Intact original inner. John O’Banion was the lead singer in Doc Severinson’s band Today’s Children as well as an actor. His self titled album released in 1981 included the hit single “Love You Like I Never Loved Before”. This is a white label promo Specialty pressing on Elektra 6E-342. The vinyl is EX, the cover is VG with wear and SOC, original inner has split seams. I will mix and match, bundle, and will combine shipping. Review my feedback and buy with confidence. GRADING All records are first visually graded based around the Goldmine standard – see below for details. Then I spot play grade every record, paying particular attention to any defect I see that may affect sound reproduction. NOTE: Records are dusted, I do not have the equipment to provide a professional cleaning; I recommend a thorough cleaning prior to playing. Rest assured that I grade the records as they are, not how I hope they will sound after cleaning. I don’t use the grades mint or near mint, so the best grade used is EX. The other thing you won’t see is anything like +++ – I mean really? I will provide a grade for the cover and record, not the inner sleeve; nor will I guarantee that the inner sleeve is original to the record unless specifically noted. Records will typically ship in a (probably used) clear plastic cover with the record removed from the sleeve. Box sets will ship with the records in the box. If you don’t agree with the grading of this item and wish to return it, I would appreciate it if you would contact me as soon as possible. For returns other than ‘not as described’ buyer pays return shipping. Having run an online record store from the mid 90s to 2008 I understand the importance of you knowing exactly what you are buying. Grading scale: M and NM: over-used grades that I don’t use EX: minor visual defect, perhaps a surface mar but should play great VG+: more noticeable blemishes to cover but not too distracting, minor surface noise possible on quiet passages or track leadin but overall a very enjoyable listening experience VG: this grade is not really ‘very good’. More visual and audio defects, but cover is intact albeit with noticeable defects and the record will have more visual defects and audible noise, but won’t detract much from your listening experience G: record with his grade would be a placeholder until you can find a better copy. Lousy cover, very noisy but plays through with no skips. P: junk
