1960 GEORGIA passenger license plate, from BIBB COUNTY in central Georgia (Macon and vicinity). Steel tag uses a bright white base with jet-black embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL PAINT, with NO TOUCH-UPS. Includes embossed “PEACH STATE” nickname at bottom. THIS IS A TOUGH ISSUE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION —1960 GA tags did NOT wear well at all. Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with no tears to metal, no extra holes, almost no rust, and no other defects. Paint is SOLID and STRONG. Some paint chips, scuffs, and scratches, to be expected with genuine age/use. Could easily be remounted on wall or other flat surface.
