Antique Carving Fork with Carbon Steel Tine, Bolster, & Wood Handle This carving fork has the tines forged from the fine carbon steel. The handle is single pinned over the full tang and single bolstered to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance. ** ca. late 19th Century – early 20th Century *** Tine Length 3″ Total Length 10″ Weight 3 – 5 oz. ( approximate measurements ) Wear Cut Scratch Condition deep pitting patina on both sides of the fork & no stand ( last four photos ), fork structure is good Photos are descriptions Maintenance Suggestion: Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid. After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry. Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended.
