Antique Unmarked 1885 Patent Edward P. Haff CORKSCREW Direct Straight Pull with Nickel Plated Handle Made in U.S.A. Description: This is an Edward P. Haff 1885 patent direct pull t-shaped corkscrew. The two-piece pinned metal handle consists of nickel plated brass covering a wood core. American Edward Haff of Brooklyn, New York, took out patents for a variety of methods of attaching shanks to handles between 1884 and 1885. The corkscrew has a decorated shaft and is unmarked. The item pictured is the very item you will receive. This item is vintage and is recommended for its vintage value, but not necessarily for actual usage. Approximate size: 4 1/4″ long, 3″ wide. Weight: 3/4 oz. Condition: In VERY GOOD condition. There are some tiny dents and age marks on the handle. Please see all photos for a complete description.
